Type specimen: Amer. Mus. No. 108, a skull (mostly complete skull). Its type locality is Cheyenne River (AMNH), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Lance Formation of Wyoming.

Distribution: found only at Cheyenne River (AMNH)
