Type specimen: GMC V2006, a mandible (left dentary). Its type locality is Fangshen, Lingyuan, which is in a Jurassic terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Jiulongshan Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Fangshen, Lingyuan
