Type specimen: MACN 18.055, a skeleton. Its type locality is 2 km north of Agua de la Pena, which is in a Tuvalian terrestrial horizon in the Ischigualasto Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: herbivore
Distribution: found only at 2 km north of Agua de la Pena
