Sister taxon: Nemegtosaurus pachi

Type specimen: ZPAL MgD-I/9, a skull. Its type locality is Nemegt, Central Sayr, site 6 [PMPE], which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone/conglomerate in the Nemegt Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Nemegt, Central Sayr, site 6 [PMPE]
