Type specimen: QG24, a set of postcrania. Its type locality is Lake Kariba Island 126/127, which is in a Sinemurian/Pliensbachian terrestrial sandstone in the Forest Sandstone Formation of Zimbabwe.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Lake Kariba Island 126/127
