Sister taxon: Adiantoides magnus

Type specimen: MNHM 3004 PV, a skull ("Associated skull and jaws, incomplete posteriorly."). Its type locality is Divisadero Largo, which is in a Divisaderan terrestrial horizon in the Divisadero Largo Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Divisadero Largo
