Type specimen: 15713-4698, 4698" (part and counterpart). Its type locality is Rose Creek Locality, which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian fluvial claystone/sandstone in the Dakota Formation of Nebraska.
Distribution: found only at Rose Creek Locality
