Type specimen: P.W.1-1 to P.W.1-21, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Phu Wiang 1, Phu Pratu Teema, which is in a Barremian/Aptian floodplain siltstone/sandstone in the Sao Khua Formation of Thailand.
