Belongs to Icaronycteris according to G. L. Jepsen 1966
Sister taxa: Icaronycteris gunnelli, Icaronycteris menui, Icaronycteris sigei
Type specimen: Princeton University Museum of Natural History No. 18150, a skeleton (skeleton lacking right fibula and several toe bones). Its type locality is Icaronycteris Type Locality, which is in a Wasatchian lacustrine - small marl in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: volant insectivore
Distribution: found only at Icaronycteris Type Locality
