Type specimen: MLP 26-39, a partial skull. Its type locality is Cañadón Grande, Rio Chubút, which is in an Aptian terrestrial sandstone in the Cerro Barcino Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Cañadón Grande, Rio Chubút
