Sister taxon: Trigonolophodon inflatus

Type specimen: Not listed, a set of teeth (varios premolares y molares superiores y una mandíbula inferior á la que le faltan solamente los incisivos). Its type locality is Cerro Blanco, Mustersan, which is in a Mustersan terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial herbivore
