Type specimen: ZPal MgM-I/120, a partial skeleton (complete skull associated with both dentaries and fragments of the postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is Bayn Dzak, site 2 [PMPE], which is in a Campanian terrestrial sandstone in the Djadokhta Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore

Distribution:
