Sister taxon: Gobiosuchus parvus

Type specimen: Zpal MgR-II/67, a partial skeleton (Skull and disarticulated skeleton). Its type locality is Shabarakh Usu, Volcano sublocality [PMPE], which is in a Campanian eolian sandstone in the Djadokhta Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: carnivore
