Type specimen: GSM 350, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, which is in a Lutetian deep subtidal shelf lime mudstone in the Blue Bluff Formation of Georgia.

• Eocene of United States (4: Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina collections)
