Type specimen: CMM V-15, a skull. Its type locality is South of Camp Conoy Road, Zone 17-18, which is in a Serravallian shoreface sandstone in the Choptank Formation of Maryland.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
Distribution: found only at South of Camp Conoy Road, Zone 17-18
