  • Magyarosaurus dacus: MBFSZ Ob.3091 (lectotype), a set of vertebrae. Its type locality is Site I, Pareu Vartopilor, Kiscsula, which is in a Maastrichtian lacustrine claystone/sandstone in the Densuş-Ciula Formation of Romania.
  • Magyarosaurus hungaricus: BMNH R3833, a set of postcrania. Its type locality is Szentpéterfalva, Hateg Basin, which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial sandstone in the Sânpetru Formation of Romania.
  • Magyarosaurus transsylvanicus: BMNH R3896, 4891, a set of postcrania. Its type locality is Szentpéterfalva, Hateg Basin, which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial sandstone in the Sânpetru Formation of Romania.
