Type specimen: FMNH PR 1821, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Mt. Kirkpatrick, Beardmore Glacier, which is in a Sinemurian/Pliensbachian fluvial siltstone in the Hanson Formation of Antarctica.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Mt. Kirkpatrick, Beardmore Glacier
