Type specimen: UMNH VP 6373/UUVP 2826, a set of postcrania (left ilium). Its type locality is Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry, which is in a Tithonian pond mudstone/lime mudstone in the Morrison Formation of Utah.
