Sister taxa: Bugenasaura infernalis, Thescelosaurus assiniboiensis, Thescelosaurus garbanii, Thescelosaurus neglectus

Type specimen: NMC No. 8537, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton with partial skull and partial forelimbs). Its type locality is 8 miles northwest of Rumsey (260 ft level) [NMC], which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Scollard Formation of Canada.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at 8 miles northwest of Rumsey (260 ft level) [NMC]
