Type specimen: UM-VLP-2, a mandible (damaged right dentary with p3-m3). Its type locality is Vitrolles la Plaine, Rognac, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial limestone/marl in France.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Vitrolles la Plaine, Rognac
