  • Typothorax coccinarum: Its type locality is Cerro Blanco, NMMNH L-918, which is in a Norian terrestrial conglomerate/sandstone in the Chinle Formation of New Mexico
  • Episcoposaurus horridus: Its type locality is Episcoposaurus horridus type, Arroyo Seco, which is in a Norian terrestrial horizon in the Chinle Formation of New Mexico.
  • Typothorax antiquum: NMMNH P-36075, a partial skeleton (incomplete postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is NMMNH L-3108, which is in a Norian terrestrial mudstone in the Santa Rosa Formation of New Mexico.
