Belongs to Pelorosaurus according to B. F. Nopcsa 1901
Sister taxon: Pelorosaurus conybeari
Type specimen: BHN2R 112, a tooth. Its type locality is Tour de Croÿ, Wimereux, which is in a Tithonian marine horizon in France.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: there are no occurrences of Pelorosaurus praecursor in the database
