Type specimen: NMB Al. 241, Switzerland, a tooth (M1 inf. dext.). Its type locality is Anwil, Baselland, which is in a MN 7 + 8 fluvial-lacustrine horizon in Switzerland.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Pliocene of Poland (1 collection)

• Miocene of Austria (1), Switzerland (2)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
