- Leidyosuchus canadensis: Its type locality is Badlands on Red Deer River, which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Dinosaur Park Formation of Canada
- Leidyosuchus gilmorei: Amer. Mus. No. 5352, a skull (skull). Its type locality is 2 miles below Steveville (175 ft level) [AMNH], which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial horizon in Canada.
