Type specimen: MAA 91-92, a set of vertebrae. Its type locality is Andranomamy, Tsinjorano, which is in a Bathonian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Isalo III Formation of Madagascar.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Andranomamy, Tsinjorano
