Type specimen: MPEF-PV 1125. Its type locality is Estancia Fernández, which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian lacustrine claystone/mudstone in the Cañadón Calcáreo Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Estancia Fernández
