Type specimen: PVL 3831, a skull (Skull and mandible). Its type locality is 5 km west of Villa de Potrerillos, which is in an Anisian terrestrial horizon in the Cerro de Las Cabras Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: herbivore

Distribution: found only at 5 km west of Villa de Potrerillos
