Type specimen: CAGS01-IG1-a, b, a skeleton (part and counterpart of a skeleton with some preserved soft tissues). Its type locality is Dawangzhangzi, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine shale in the Yixian Formation of China.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Dawangzhangzi
