Type specimen: CHG CV 00732, a mandible (left dentary). Its type locality is Dashanpu Dinosaur Quarry [lower], which is in a Bajocian/Oxfordian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Shaximiao Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Dashanpu Dinosaur Quarry [lower]
