Type specimen: MPCA 245, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is La Buitrera (lower), which is in a Cenomanian fluvial sandstone in the Candeleros Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at La Buitrera (lower)
