Type specimen: IVPP V.12638, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Wangjiagou, which is in a Barremian/Aptian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Yixian Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Wangjiagou
