Sister taxa: Ennacodon crassus, Enneodon echinus

Type specimen: USNM 2129, a mandible (left mandible with C, P1, P3-4, and M2-4). Its type locality is Quarry 9, Como Bluff (YPM), which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone/sandstone in the Morrison Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Quarry 9, Como Bluff (YPM)
