Type specimen: MB.R.2092.1, MB.R.2092.2, a set of vertebrae (2 anterior dorsal vertebrae). Its type locality is Tendaguru quarry NB, which is in a Tithonian estuary/bay marl in the Tendaguru Formation of Tanzania.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Tendaguru quarry NB
