Type specimen: UCMP 50056, a partial skull (rostrum). Its type locality is Slip Point Lighthouse, which is in an Aquitanian marine shale/sandstone in the Clallam Formation of Washington.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore-carnivore

Distribution: found only at Slip Point Lighthouse
