Type specimen: QMF 19710 (mid-trunk vertebra). Its type locality is Tingamarra Local Fauna - Boat Mountain deposit, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine claystone/sandstone in Australia.

Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Tingamarra Local Fauna - Boat Mountain deposit
