Sister taxon: Bipulvina liaoningensis
Type specimen: USNM 135184, a shell. Its type locality is 237-y (=MoGS 5132). Poverty Flat Mines, near Berryman, which is in a Gasconadian carbonate dolomite in the Gasconade Formation of Missouri.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution: found only at 237-y (=MoGS 5132). Poverty Flat Mines, near Berryman
