Type specimen: YPM 13163, a shell. Its type locality is SL-1. Headwaters of Feefee Creek, north of Olive St. & west of Lindberg Blvd., 1.5 km northwest of Stratmann (Olivette), which is in a Moscovian offshore shale in the Appanoose Formation of Missouri.

Ecology: slow-moving epifaunal detritivore-carnivore

Distribution:

• Carboniferous of United States (3: Missouri, New Mexico collections)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
