Type specimen: QMF 37325, a shell. Its type locality is QML 1027 - Brogans Creek Quarry, near Kandos, which is in an Emsian carbonate limestone in the Brogans Creek Limestone Formation of Australia.

Distribution: found only at QML 1027 - Brogans Creek Quarry, near Kandos
