Type specimen: Its type locality is Locality 5. “Starfish Bed,” small cliff above S. bank of Lady Burn River, 100 meters south of South Treave Farmhouse, Thraive Glen, Girvan, which is in a Rawtheyan carbonate limestone in the South Threave Formation of the United Kingdom.

Ecology: slow-moving epifaunal detritivore

Distribution: found only at Locality 5. “Starfish Bed,” small cliff above S. bank of Lady Burn River, 100 meters south of South Treave Farmhouse, Thraive Glen, Girvan
