Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: MPCA 390-397, 400, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is La Buitrera (Hoyada de los esfenodontes), which is in a Cenomanian crevasse splay sandstone in the Candeleros Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at La Buitrera (Hoyada de los esfenodontes)
