Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: CMNH 8028, a partial skeleton ( and jaw; most of the precaudal and a few caudal vertebrae; a few limb bones; scutes). Its type locality is Delfs Quarry, Garden Park (CMNH), which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian crevasse splay mudstone/sandstone in the Morrison Formation of Colorado.

• Jurassic of United States (3: Colorado, Wyoming collections)
