Type specimen: MACN-CH-1469, a set of postcrania (carapace, a right posterolateral part lacking, plastron less a right longitudinal part, part of girdles, limbs and tail). Its type locality is 6 km north of Estancia "Ocho Hermanos", which is in a Cenomanian/Turonian terrestrial sandstone in the Bajo Barreal Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: amphibious omnivore
Distribution: found only at 6 km north of Estancia "Ocho Hermanos"
