Type specimen: Naturhistorisches Museum Basel, Holotype M 611. Its type locality is Ophiuroidea, Renggeri-Ton, Les Rouges Terres, Le Bémont, which is in an Oxfordian offshore claystone in the Renggeri-Ton Formation of Switzerland.
Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore-suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Ophiuroidea, Renggeri-Ton, Les Rouges Terres, Le Bémont
