Type specimen: PIN 3142-496, an egg (complete clutch). Its type locality is Khermeen Tsav, Red Beds (PIN coll. 3142) [SMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.
