Type specimen: UNPSJB-Pv 942, a partial skeleton (four cervical vertebrae, seven dorsal vertebrae, four sacral vertebrae, six caudal vertebraepreserved), rib fragment, a portion of the left scapula, right corac). Its type locality is 28 km northeast of Buen Pasto, which is in a Cenomanian/Turonian terrestrial horizon in the Bajo Barreal Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at 28 km northeast of Buen Pasto
