Sister taxa: Lithastrinus grillii, Lithastrinus pentabrachius, Lithastrinus quadricuspis
Ecology: passively mobile planktonic "photoautotroph"
Distribution: found only at Petruny MS Thesis TDP Site 31 (Cretaceous of Tanzania)
