Type specimen: Its type locality is S118/f539, which is in a Lutetian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the Broken River Formation of New Zealand
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: there are no occurrences of Longimactra flemingi in the database
