Type specimen: USNM 128631. Its type locality is USGS 24469 - Kukpowruk River, North Slope, which is in an Albian coastal siltstone in the Kukpowruk Formation of Alaska.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at USGS 24469 - Kukpowruk River, North Slope
