Type specimen: University of Wyoming Geological Museum no. 3196, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton). Its type locality is Primobucco kistneri Site, which is in a Wasatchian lacustrine limestone in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Primobucco kistneri Site
