Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: IVPP V 13767, a skull (Nearly complete skull with some cervical vertebrae). Its type locality is Xinmin, Panxian County (IVPP), which is in a Pelsonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Guanling Formation of China.

Ecology: aquatic piscivore

Distribution:

• Triassic of China (2 collections)
